Not just any bun but a nido de guayaba - literally guava nest - from the fabulous bakery at @_laatoleria in Oaxaca. It’s like a super-light fluffy scone with juicy chunks of guava and a crunchy sugary coating. Just ridiculously good. . . . #nida #guayaba #bakery #baking #oaxacaHaving stuffed ourselves with tortillas and tacos for the best part of a week it was great to have a couple of salads at @levaduradeolla in Oaxaca including this fantastic tomato salad which was served on a light beetroot purée and a salad of roasted and pickled veg with toasted almonds and a cilantro dressing.
